Santa Claus Comes Ridin' Through Cliffside Park

CLIFFSIDE PARK, N.J. -- "I just ran out of the shower and woke him up from a nap so he wouldn't miss Santa," said Talia Filippelli of Cliffside Park, who brought her 18-month-old son, Adrian, and her husband, Michael, down to the street for the annual Fire Department ride through town Saturday.

Firefighters distributed lollipops while escorting Santa on an engine, horn honking and siren blaring, during the second day of St. Nick's traditional borough "tour."

Families waved from street corners, greeted costumed elves and took selfies -- lots of selfies -- as temperatures broke 60 degrees.
